emotional clarity #014

This January, I’m challenging myself to avoid taking any advice from others let alone ask for it. I believe that true clarity comes from embracing my emotions, a realization that took me a long time to reach. I used to run from my feelings, but now I understand their importance.

People often think we rely on others when it comes to our life plans, but that mindset can be detrimental considering the plan God has for you and everyone else is strictly yours. No one can stand between it but you, so why should anyone get a say so of when or why you approach it or embody the energy to.

Think about it, if you were to ask someone about a goal you are excited about and you tell someone about it, what will you do if they don't understand your vision? It messes with your nervous system and tricks you into procrastinating on achieving your goal(s) and dampers your productivity.

Ever felt like water was in your ear when its physically not? It’s a sign that you’re not truly listening. People often want to make you question yourself, asking, “Who do you think you are?” My answer? "I am that I am." If you feel intimidated by me, it’s likely because you’re struggling to understand your own identity. Instead of projecting negativity, seek to understand and grow within or you will go without.

You may be perceived as “crazy” until your vision manifests in the physical realm but remember that everything begins in the spiritual. Faith without works is dead and just as you may pray and manifest it you must work for it in order to come full circle. You must feel it and believe in its arrival before it becomes a reality. If you lack support for your vision, it may not come to fruition.

One thing about God: He will always keep His word. Seek Him while he may be found, and trust that he will send people who uplift you and connect with your spirit, guiding you as you navigate life.

We must cultivate a state of being called ‘여유-yeoyu’—a calmness that allows us to think and act leisurely. Instead of suppressing emotions, let them flow through you until they’re released. If you have the time, money or mindset, in other words FREEDOM, to achieve something.

It’s crucial to differentiate between not caring and feeling numb. I empathize with those who feel numb because I’ve been there, too. Ignoring your emotions can lead to a tower moment—a wake-up call to address the unresolved feelings within you.

I didn’t run from who I was; instead, I paused, worked on myself, and completed my assignments. I refuse to be treated like a puppet in someone else’s show. I am in control of my narrative, and I encourage you to take charge of yours as well. Embrace your power, trust your journey, and remember that you are the author of your own story. Create your own reality.
